We have intentionally not registered as an FSP so that we cannot sell policies directly to end customers, thus ensuring true funeral business partnerships.
This means that there is never a danger that we could be competing with our funeral parlour partners and we believe that this will result in fruitful, mutually beneficial partnerships that will endure for years to come.
We recognise all the investment and work that South African funeral parlours have put into building a loyal customer base and even through the law defines the policy holder as a customer of the insurer, we believe in that, in principle, the relationship with the customer has been established by and is maintained by the funeral parlour FSP and should always be respected by the insurer.
